Individual therapy can only do so much to improve relationships. We are limited by our blind spots. Group therapy has the advantage of having other to give you feedback on what signals we're giving out that may unintentionally provoke reactions we don't want.
And talking about communication skills don't necessarily mean we're going to communicate any better. As they say, practice makes perfect.
That's why I created the Creative Connections group. By interacting in a safe environment, we can gain insight and practice more effective communication skills.
I start groups when I have enough interested participants. Let me know if you'd like to join us.
Warm wishes,
Jennifer Whitlock

Creative Connections
Creative Connections is a unique, interactive style of group therapy that combines Expressive therapy, Psychodrama, Play therapy and Improvisational theater to help participants develop more authentic connections with themselves and with others.
You'll have the opportunity to:
* Discover and express all aspects of your true self
* Build confidence
* Deepen connections with others
* Heal wounds that are holding you back from intimacy
* Free your spontaneity
* Vent feelings
You'll also have lots of fun.
Our groups are best for well-functioning individuals who want more meaning, intimacy and spontaneity in life, not for people who are incapacitated by serious addictions and mental illnesses. You don't have to be a hot mess to go to counseling!
We are currently forming groups for adults.
